The B12R is equipped with engine D12D, gearbox Volvo I-Shift, brake system EBS 5, electronic suspension, VEB engine brake or retarder Voith (optional).

The B12R offers as optional the ESP - Electronic Stability Program. This system helps prevent possible accidents due to over speed while turning around.
