Finnish factories have long body building experience; Turku factory was founded in 1935 and Tampere factory 1942. The production started with wooden bodies built on truck chassis. As the first owners of both Tampere and Turku factories where bus operators, it was natural that the buses where built according to the customers - bus fleets - wishes and to serve their needs. Still today this principle is the main quideline in the company's operation.
Thanks to many decades of intensive body building, the factories have gained a reputation of body builder producing reliable products, keeping promised delivery times and supplying the buses in traffic with spare parts and after sales service.
