2005-12-14 | India’s largest travel agent order 100 Volvo coaches
Raj Travels, India’s largest travel agent has placed an order for 100 Volvo coaches with Volvo Buses. It is the biggest order so far for Volvo Buses in India.
2005-12-12 | Göteborg to operate Sweden’s longest bus
In the New Year, the residents of Göteborg will have the opportunity to travel on Sweden’s longest bus – a new bi-articulated bus that is a full 24 meters in length. The success of one of the city’s bus routes means that the public transport company Västtrafik requires a bus that can carry up to 165 passengers.
2005-12-09 | Volvo receives order for 2,000 city buses in China
Volvo Buses has received its biggest ever order in China. Shanghai’s largest transport company, SHANGHAI BA-SHI (GROUP) INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD, has ordered 2,000 Volvo B6R buses, for delivery by summer 2007.
2005-11-29 | Major order for Volvo’s coaches in China
Volvo Buses recently designed 9300 coach has been very positively received in China. As soon as it was introduced in November a customer signed a framework agreement for 100 coaches. At the same time the company received an order for a further 52 coaches from various customers.

Volvo Buses has received two orders for 182 double deckers. 120 of them will go into service in Dublin and the rest will run on three new bus routes in London.

On Saturday morning, 22 October, more than 1,100 Volvo buses took to the streets of Santiago, Chile’s capital. It was the first day of the Transantiago operation, the largest public urban transport system in Latin America.
