On 20th October, 2001, when Volvo introduced its first bus in India, the Indian operations found a permanent place within the Volvo Bus' extensive global network.

The first bus to be introduced with a true bus chassis in India, the Volvo 9400 is now a symbol of global quality and design on Indian roads, as well as high vehicle performance and drive comfort.
