Volvo 9700 has been appointed as the coach of the year by a jury made up of journalists from the European press. The jury has described the bus as a vehicle for super comfort and handling thanks to the handling characteristics.
The jury, composed of journalists from 15 European cities took the decision after a test conducted in Switzerland in management involving manufacturers like Mercedes Benz, and Iribuss Neoplan.
  "It gives us great pleasure to be appointed Volvo bus of the year," said Håkan Karlsson, President of Volvo Buses. "This is a recognition that we have achieved through the implementation of our objectives."
The 9700 Volvo won because it offers the best solution in the market. The jury presented a long list of qualities of the bus, with particular emphasis on those features considered positive for passengers. Examples include: sloping floor and huge windows overlooking ensure phenomenal regardless of the place where the passenger is seated. According to the jury, the seats equipped with seat belts for three points higher offer comfort along the route by bus. "It's a bus for passengers," was the opinion.
