Built for the future.
A vehicle whose structure and outer lamination are made with high resistance galvanized steel. It has aluminum luggage doors and have a pantographic opening system, which allows them to open in small space places.
The driver resting compartment is behind the front axle, which offers greater comfort and reduces noise levels and temperature.
Structure construction offers greater security, since it has a system for Impact absorption.
Italian innovative luggage rack design allows greater directed air flow and can be set with or without banister rails.
Engine area has new insulating acoustic material, which allows interior comfort of 80 decibels and dissipates high temperatures.
Robust and simple chassis design assures long life, free of problems and reliability.
VOLVO B9R
The B9R is a complete chassis steered to regular segment. The chassis has a rear 9 liter engine with 340 hp.
The chassis frame is formed by two black steel C stringers of high resistance, which implies simple and robust design, yet using the highest platform TX technology.
The engine is the Volvo D9A; an engine with six in-line cylinders, direct fuel injection, turbocharger and post-cooling. E controlled injection causes the motor to offer reduced fuel consumption and long durability.
Great power engine.
The D9A is the most recent Volvo’s motor, optimized for the Mexican market in regular segment and coach applications according with level of equipment required.
It has a displacement of 9.36 liters, 340 HP power (250 kw) and 1600 N.m (1180 lb ft) of torque. Engine emissions fulfill Euro3, which guarantees clean operation and environment care.
Drive train.
The engine can be coupled to one of two manual gearboxes. ZF 6S-1600 6-speeds gearbox with a Voith-120 hydraulic retarder included, and mechanical controlled. The 8-speed Volvo EGS-VR gearbox with integrated retarder and electronically controlled exists for greater handling comfort.
