At Elmia Wood, Volvo will exhibit machines for the forest industry work processes, from forest road building, timber harvesting, transporting and material handling to harvesting of bioenergy raw material.
Tracked forestry carriers, excavators, loaders and a timber-transport equipped truck will be on display.
Hybrid technology will be in the spotlight: introducing the F15 Hybrid Forwarder with electric transmission, which is part of Volvo's investment in energy efficient and environmentally sound forestry machinery.
Other highlights will be the Volvo Care Cab concept and Eco-operator training.
Elmia Wood 2009 takes place at the Bratteborg area, 30 km south of Jönköping in Sweden.
