Tips for safer site working
- Do not operate a machine before having read and understood the Operator's manual.
- Before each shift, check equipment to
ensure that parts, equipment and accessories are in safe operating condition and free from apparent
damage that could cause failure while in use.
- Make sure all defects are corrected before the vehicle is placed in service.
- Wear seat belts.
- Do not drive a machine in reverse before you have made sure there is nobody behind the machine.
- Make sure all personnel is clear before using dumping or lifting devices.
- Lower all blades, buckets, dumper bodies, etc. when not in use.
- Leave all controls in neutral when not in use.
- Do not exceed a vehicle's rated load or lift capacity.
- Do not carry personnel unless there is a safe place to ride.
