CareTrack is a telematics system that has been developed to work with a Volvo machine's own diagnostic system.
CareTrack combines two independent systems; GPS and the mobile phone network, or data via satellite.
These systems are coordinated in CareTrack and only two items need to be installed in the machine: a small computer with an integrated GPS receiver and modem plus an antenna.
On a password protected Website you can for example "see" precisely where the machine is located, the rate of fuel consumption and when it is time for the next service. With immediate access to the correct facts on your machines you can analyse the situation shift by shift and make decisions that result in higher productivity and shorter downtimes.
CareTrack is also excellent theft protection, as you can "limit" the machine via your computer to a certain geographical area and also decide which hours of the day the machine can be operated.
