Volvo Construction Equipment will be among the leading exhibitors at Bauma China in Shanghai. On show will be the new Volvo EC60C, the company’s recently introduced range of road machinery and a host of other machines.
Occupying nearly 1,320 m2 of space, Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) will be one of the largest exhibitors at this year’s Bauma China – the country’s leading construction equipment trade show in 2008.
Held between 25-28th November, Bauma China will play host to one of the industry’s most anticipated new products: Volvo’s EC60C will be on display and matches greater power and performance with class leading comfort. It is capable of multitasking – from picking and sorting to top loading large dump trucks, quickly and effectively.
Another highlight of Volvo CE’s participation at Bauma China will be the unveiling of the company’s new-look road machinery product range, now marketed in the Volvo corporate livery of yellow/grey and carrying the Volvo brand. Machines modeling the new look at the show will be the single drum Volvo SD251DX soil compactor, the double drum Volvo DD146HF/DD138HFA asphalt compactor and the Volvo ABG 8820 asphalt pavers.
Under the theme of ‘More Care. Built In’, the outdoor exhibition space B56/C53 will be home to nine of Volvo CE’s latest machines: including F-Series wheel loaders, B-Series excavators, Volvo EC60C compact excavators and E-Series articulated haulers systems. The company will demonstrate the breadth of its road machinery product line with a further three compactors and pavers on display outside.
Machines will be arranged in application-specific clusters, highlighting Volvo’s increasing customer segment focus and demonstrating how Volvo machines are designed to work as ‘systems’ rather than in isolation. Customer Support will be integrated into these ‘hard’ machine segments, with themed kiosks focusing on Volvo CE ‘soft’ products and services.
The Volvo CE exhibit at Bauma China 2008 will also include a fully-equipped Volvo Remarketing centre. Volvo Financial Services will also be well-represented.
