We all need comic relief, especially during trying times. HardHat Comedy© is a public service project of Volvo Rents construction equipment rental stores designed to serve that purpose.
An online version of the tour offers construction industry workers a good laugh to help relieve the stress of hard times. But its main objective is to assist local charities, providing meaningful community relief.
Shows are sponsored by contractors, building trade associations and Volvo Rents franchisees. We make the event local to help solidify community support for charitable work at home.

Volvo Rents provides the show free to local construction industry-related sponsors, such as building trade associations, contractors and Volvo Rents franchisees so they may help local charities. In addition to the live comedians, Volvo Rents works with you to secure a venue and promote the event. Admission for the show is a charitable donation. It may be money, but more often it’s cans of food, winter coats, holiday toys or care packages. Whatever is needed.
To support the community in Asheville, NC for example, attendees there brought 3 cans of non-perishable food items and re-stocked a depleted charitable pantry with nearly a TON of needed food supplies.
