Directions to the Road Institute are as follows:
- Take the Scotland exit (exit 20) off of Interstate 81 and turn onto route 997 north.
- Go 2.8 miles to traffic light at intersection of routes 11 and 997 (Sheetz gas station is on the right).
- Continue straight on 997 North (at the Sheetz intersection) for 1.2 miles to the next traffic light; located at the intersection of routes 433 and 997.
- The intersection of route 997 and route 433 is a "5-way intersection." Take the second left (the first or hard left is route 433 south do not take this one).
- Travel 0.3 miles to first traffic light and turn left onto Advantage Ave.
- Travel 0.5 miles to first stop sign and continue straight on Advantage Ave.
- Go 0.4 miles to building 56 (the building number is painted on the side of the building) which is located at the intersection of Advantage Ave. and Superior Ave.
- The student parking area is located along the chain link fence located on the left-hand side of Advantage Ave and on the left-hand side of Superior Ave. Look for the "Road Institute Student Parking" signs.
- The main entrance into building 56 is located about half way up, on the Advantage Ave. side and the Road Institute entrance is closer to the designated parking area on the same side.
- If entering through the main entrance, pass through two sets of double doors take the first hallway on the left.
- The training center is straight ahead through the double doors.
- The classroom is located at the far end of this area on the left-hand side.
- If entering through the Road Institute door, you will be in the training area; with the large classroom to your immediate left and the lab area and small class room down to your right.
