Volvo Feller Bunchers / Harvester Carriers

Equipped with reliable, highly fuel efficient Volvo diesel engines and enhanced forestry hydraulic systems, Volvo's series of tracked feller bunchers / harvester carriers are designed and purpose-built to deliver the highest productivity in regeneration harvesting applications. Operator comfort and safety are key highlights thanks to the newly designed, extremely operator friendly, Volvo Forestry Care Cab.

Volvo feller bunchers are also available for harvester applications, coming with a long-reach harvester boom and arm and dedicated harvester hydraulics.

Key features include:

  • Powerful Volvo Tier 3/Stage IIIA compliant engine with V-ACT (Volvo Advanced Combustion Technology) offering high torque at low revs, leading to ultra-efficient fuel consumption.

  • Well-matched forestry hydraulic system: engine driven, series mounted, variable displacement axial piston pumps providing high flow performance. A fifth dedicated hydraulic pump is added for feller buncher saw head operation.

  • Newly designed Volvo Forestry Care Cab: multi-adjustable, heated seat, enhanced operator comfort system and easy-to-read displays providing real time information on all machine functions.

  • Heavy-duty forestry boom and arm with dual boom main cylinders: designed and built to withstand all the lifting and twisting forces of the toughest forestry harvesting operations.

  • High-walker forestry undercarriage: designed with integral track guarding and ramp angles at each end, enabling machine powerful and safe operation even in the roughest terrain.
