Company history

As of 1st July 2005, Volvo Truck and Bus East Anglia came into existence being formed out of Volvo Truck and Bus (South) Ltd.

Volvo Truck and Bus (South) Ltd was formed in 1997 under the Volvo Regionalisation Programme. It was formed by the combining of three previous companies of long-standing Volvo experience (Heathrow Commercials Ltd, D.F.C. Truck & Bus Ltd and John R Billows (Sales) Ltd).

Volvo Truck & Bus (South) Ltd was a wholly owned Regional Company of Volvo Truck & Bus UK Ltd, who are the commercial vehicle market company in the UK.

The main products provided by the company are:

  • The sale of commercial vehicles to the market across most weight ranges  from 3.5 tonnes upwards. Primarily our main penetration is concentrated on  the heavier end of the scale.
  • The provision of contractual and financial services to support the vehicles  sold.
  • Parts supply for the total Volvo range of commercial products.
  • Provision of service support and roadside assistance for the total product  range.
