2008-05-16 First trucks – and they’re both Volvo’s

JAGVINDER SINGH DESCRIBES his latest business venture as ‘exhilarating’. He has put two new Volvo FM 400 8x4 tippers into service in the livery of Midland Quarry Products – one of the UK’s leading producers of hard rock and coated stone asphalt).

Operating out of the award winning and internationally recognised Cliffe Hill Quarry in Leicestershire, not only are they Mr. Singh’s first Volvo’s, they are also the first trucks to be owned by his new company, Singh Trucking Ltd.

Both the new tippers are operating round the clock with a team of drivers working shifts. Jagvinder describes his meeting up with MQP and the subsequent business venture as ‘fortuitous’. “MQP are very facilitative and we are also pleased with the support we have had from Volvo Truck and Bus Centre East Anglia. We are
putting together a great team of drivers and I believe that if a person is sufficiently motivated, they can build up a good business with MQP.”
