Widnes-based Hough Green Garage have recently purchased their first-ever Volvo - an impressive FH16-660 recovery truck.

Having taken delivery of the vehicle just a few weeks ago, the breakdown and recovery company’s new addition to a fleet of over 30 trucks has already been generating quite a stir amongst the industry.

With appearances as one of the main attractions at commercial shows including the European Tow show at Telford and Truckfest North-west, Hough Green’s latest addition has acquired admirers from a host of recovery companies and truck enthusiasts, far and wide. 

The SCR technology-equipped Euro 4 truck is no ordinary recovery vehicle.  Costing in excess of £230,000, the flagship 6x4 truck not only boasts 660hp, but is specified with a Globetrotter XL cab in ‘Prestige’ trim, I-Shift automated transmission, leather seats, polished alloys, and roof bar spot lights as well as being fully equipped with all the necessary equipment needed to carry out both the toughest accident recovery plus lift and tow work.
