Thanks to superior insulation and soundproofing, the cab of the VT 800 Daycab is quieter than those of most cars. Critical construction tolerances and a welded cab keep vibrations to a minimum. Thick floor covering provides noise dampening inside the cab. Rubber isolators allow the chassis-mounted hood to flex independently of the cab, resulting in less component stress and cab noise. And the energy-absorbing steering column soaks up vibration from the road.

Even pulling big loads, the VT Daycab delivers a smooth ride. The
cab air bag suspension system features air bags mounted outside
the frame rails for greater stability. A torsion spring reduces lateral movement and improves cab centering for a ride that’s noticeably
more comfortable.

When spec’d with Volvo’s 600 horsepower engine, we offer an innovative Non-Torque Reactive suspension to handle the higher torque and larger engine displacement. The result is more comfort
in the cab with the added benefit of less wear on components.
