Volmont d.o.o. was founded in the end of March 1994 in Podgorica, Montenegro. The abbrevation “Volmont” actually comes from two words, Volvo and Montenegro. Part of the reason for this was the political situation and economical sanctions in Yugoslavia at the time. When the sanctions were over, the company moved to Belgrade.
Volmont d.o.o. is the representative dealer of Volvo Construction Equipment for Serbia and Montenegro and the representative dealer for Volvo Trucks in Montenegro. In partnership with our customers, we are strongly committed to the concept of providing a wide product range and related service that meet the Volvo core values – quality, safety and environmental care.
In the 80’s and in to the 90’s, Volvo as a brand was well-known for its cars and commercial vehicles. And since Volmont started promoting the Volvo construction machines, they have gradually become part of the Volvo brand in people’s mind.
At the moment our biggest customers are road construction companies and building companies which use our machines in domestic and foreign work sites.
