In the machine's moving joints, pins and bushings are subjected to constant wear and high stresses. They are designed for wear, but gradually the machine's performance is effected when movements becomes less precise and smooth.
There are three very good reasons for planning replacement of pins and bushings with kits for bucket attachments and steering joints.
- You'll get a more effective and profitable machine in the long run.
- The price of a kit is lower than buying the parts separately.
- By replacing a whole kit, you reduce the risk of unplanned downtime.
When wear has made the attachments worn and oval, it won't help to replace the pins. A good alternative to an expensive repair is expander bolts.
