Penn-Jersey Machinery, the authorized Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) dealer in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, has reached an agreement to assume the sales and marketing of road machinery products formerly marketed by Binder Machinery Company, an Ingersoll Rand dealer headquartered in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The agreement was effective August 1, 2007.
Volvo CE acquired the road machinery division of Ingersoll Rand in April, 2007. The acquired product line includes soil and asphalt compaction, Blaw-Knox paving, milling and road maintenance equipment, and material handling machines.
Penn-Jersey presently operates six (6) full sales, marketing and service branches in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania and has added the road machinery products to its construction equipment inventories in its marketing territory. The primary objectives are to provide ongoing, uninterrupted and complete service to road machinery customers. Penn-Jersey will provide complete parts and service.
