2009-01-08 A new facility in San Diego opens as VCES CA & Mathews Machinery join forces Mathews Machinery in CA has merged its operations with those of Volvo’s company-owned dealership, Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES). 2009-01-01 Two Volvo Construction Equipment Dealers in California Join Forces Mathews Machinery, a dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) in California, has merged its business operations with those of Volvo’s company-owned dealership, Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES). As of January 1, 2009, Mathews will operate under the VCES name. The merger allows Volvo Construction Equipment & Services to better serve California by increasing the strength of their distribution and leveraging the unique customer experience that both VCES & Mathews’ customers have always received. The Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) branch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is now representing the comprehensive line of Volvo compact wheel loaders and excavators and skid steer and backhoe loaders. The appointment of VCES Milwaukee was effective May 12, 2008. 2008-05-13 Volvo Construction Equipment Adds New Compact Equipment Dealership in Baltimore Area Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has added another Volvo compact equipment dealer to its expanding distribution network. The Volvo Construction Equipment & Services (VCES) branch in Elkridge (Baltimore), Maryland, is now representing the comprehensive line of Volvo compact wheel loaders and excavators and skid steer and backhoe loaders. The appointment of VCES-Elkridge was effective May 1, 2008.
