The programme runs for 12 months and is a combination of common and individual graduate activities, day-to-day work and job rotation at the home company. During the programme the participants will go on an internship abroad for approximately three months.

In order to create a better understanding of the Group and to extend each individual’s network beyond the home company, one job rotation period should be located at another Volvo Group company. To give you an idea of where this outplacement can be, participants in the earlier programme have been on internships abroad in USA, France, UK, China, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Canada, Japan and Russia.

During the year, the participants will also meet at different locations in the world for common training sessions. Training sessions that will be included in the programme are: 

  • Volvo Group knowledge (The Volvo Way, introduction, corporate values etc)
  • Personal development and team building
  • Diversity  
  • Project Methodology
  • Business understanding (business simulation, visit dealer/customer)
  • Presentation skills
