Dialog with the shareholders is a priority for the Volvo Group. The relationship between Volvo and the stock market is maintained through press and telephone conferences in conjunction with the publication of interim reports, as well as road shows in Europe, North America and Asia. In addition to the Annual General Meeting the Group arranges events such as Capital Market Days, site visits investor meetings, aimed at professional investors and stock market analysts.

The Volvo Share

The Volvo share is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange Stockholm in Sweden. Volvo A and Volvo B shares are traded in blocks consisting of 100 shares each. During the General Meeting one Volvo A share or ten Volvo B shares entitles the holder to one vote. Dividends are the same for both classes of shares.

Direct yield and dividend

From 2002 to 2006 the Volvo B share had an average annual return of 28%, including reinvested dividends. The direct yield during that same period was 7.2% including extraordinary dividends.
