Volvo Group is the official partner to Logistik & Transport May 26-28 in Gothenburg. The event is divided in two parts: Exhibition and Conference. It is free to enter the exhibition while you need to pay for the conference seminars. You can download the Entrance card and the full Conference Program at www.logistik.to.

The theme for the stand will be: Sustainable Transport Solutions. Visitor will get the knowledge of sustainable parts in the logistics chain and learn more about Total Supply Chain Solutions, Soft Products, Packaging solutions, Environment and Safety. The visitors have the opportunity to discuss the industry’s future challenges with representatives from Volvo Logistics, Volvo Trucks and Volvo Group headquarters.

Joint project on climate neutral freight transportation saved 120,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide
The results of the joint project KNEG is presented today at the Logistics & Transport fair in Göteborg, Sweden. During 2008 the KNEG founders managed to reduce CO2 emissions by 120,000 tonnes. At the fair, KNEG will also welcome new members and present their initiatives for further reductions in climate impact from goods transports. Fuel-efficient transportation and vehicles, smarter logistic solutions and renewable fuels are central themes.

På Logistik & Transportmässan i Göteborg 26-28 maj presenterar KNEG resultatet av sitt samarbete under 2008 som inneburit 120 000 ton lägre co2-utsläpp. Samtidigt presenteras nya medlemmar och deras åtaganden som ska minska transporternas klimatpåverkan. Bränsleeffektivare transporter och fordon, smartare logistiklösningar och förnybara bränslen står i fokus.
