Busworld Kortrijk - October 16-21, 2009

Busworld Europe Kortrijk is the biggest and oldest specialised exhibition for the coach and bus sector in the world. This biennial exhibition will now reach its eightteenth edition and covers three sections: coach and bus builders (77.0%), accessories (20.8%), public transportation, and tourism (2.2%). When it was first organised, the decision was made to keep it a biennial show; the European market was judged too small with too slow an evolution to permit the organisation of a big European show every year.

Low fuel consumption is the major theme for Volvo Buses at Busworld in Kortrijk 2009. New fuel-efficient Euro V engines will be launched and the visitors will get the opportunity to test drive Volvo's hybrid bus that will soon go into series production.
