12/28/2004Volvo Buses secures order for 150 double-deck buses for SingaporeVolvo Buses has secured a contract to supply 150 double-deck buses to Singapore's largest public bus operator, SBS Transit. SBS Transit has around 2,700 buses in its city-bus fleet of which 66% are Volvo buses.

As a result, the strategic alliance with Carlton Forge Works can be realized. Consequently, Volvo Aero can now expand its offering of specialized components to include fan cases.

The shares were traded between SEK 260.50 and 262.50 with an average price of SEK 261.64. And has acquired 15,000 series A shares. The shares were traded between SEK 250.50 and 252.00 with an average price of SEK 251.41.
