The Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF) is a generic term for four independent foundations:
- the Volvo Research Foundation
- the Volvo Educational Foundation
- the Dr Pehr G Gyllenhammar Research Foundation
- the Håkan Frisinger Foundation for Transportation Research
The Board of VREF has initiated a new research program – Future Urban Transport (FUT). The foundations will provide common support for the program in the form of funds for research and educational projects.
