The Volvo Group has a long tradition of sustainable development
A long history of proactive environmental programmes has provided us with an opportunity to strengthen both our own and our customers’ competitiveness, while contributing to sustainable development. Over the years, we have faced challenges seemingly impossible to solve. However, today we have a history filled with examples of innovative products and services that solved the challenges we faced.
The Volvo Group works consistently to reduce the negative environmental impact of our products. This naturally involves increasing fuel efficiency and alternative fuels. But we also invest substantial resources in developing alternative drivelines, such as hybrid solutions and engines optimized for renewable fuels, and we have already demonstrated that CO2 neutral transports are not just an utopian dream.
