The department of Mechatronics and Software provides Volvo with specialists on embedded control systems.
We have extensive knowledge and experience in software, hardware and control engineering. We use this continuously updated knowledge to support our customers with forefront vehicle electronics technology. In addition to this we also develop tools to support the development, production and after market activities within the technology area.
Our customers are the Volvo Group companies and Volvo Car Corporation. We are involved in all stages of technology development from applied research to industrialisation. The research is mostly carried out as common research programmes within the European Union, involving universities, research institutes and other companies.
