The department of Transport, Information & Communication combines Information Technology, Wireless Telecommunication with In-vehicle Electronics, Logistics and Business Engineering to improve Transport Safety, Security and Efficiency for the Volvo Group.
Our competences are divided into the following areas;
- Transport Services, creates future transport end-to-end services from international research projects and concepts to demonstration and customer implementation.
- In-vehicle systems, developing embedded telematics solutions for demanding customers
- System Test and Verification, securing quality in the service delivery chain and in separate sub-systems.
The department is involved in all stages from research and concepts to product development and product support.
We are located at Lundbystrand in Gothenburg Sweden.
