Volvo goes global with golf’s ‘Duel in the Crown’
From 2009 onwards, Volvo will be the title sponsor and co-promoter of the prestigious Volvo World Match Play Championship, which moves to Finca Cortesín in the region of Andalucía in Spain for an initial three-year-period.

Volvo Masters Amateur World Final 2009
Korean dentist Choul Hee-lee was crowned 2009 Volvo Masters Amateur champion of the world after a thrilling world final in Spain, the first player from his country to take the title.
“I am very proud to win the Volvo Masters Amateur World Final,” said the newly-crowned champion, adding, “It is a great honour for me and my family, for Volvo Cars Korea and for my country and I would like to say ‘thank you’ to Volvo and to my fellow competitors from all over the world.”
