Volvo Group in Las Vegas

Mack is one of the strongest brands among heavy vehicles, and
Mack Granite is also the unmatched leader in the construction
segment in the North American market. Mack is more than just
a truck for many drivers – it is a symbol for strength and endurance. ‘Built like a Mack truck’ is a well-known phrase in the
American vocabulary.

“Customer needs drive Mack’s development, regardless of whether
they are on the North American market or in any of the more than 45 countries around the world where our heavy-duty trucks are sold,” says Stephen Tercha, Manager of Marketing Communication, Mack Trucks.

For many, Las Vegas is a glittering neon symbol of the American dream, for others a construction technology triumph. For a growing number of people, Las Vegas is simply home, and growth
requires new buildings and infrastructure. This is where the Volvo Group enters the picture.

Our trucks and construction equipment help to build what a growing city needs in the form of roads, bridges, tunnels, water supplies and sewage systems. We also help build what people need to feel good and develop personally – schools, hospitals and sports facilities.

Although Las Vegas is home and a workplace for many people, we want to create the prerequisites for turning dreams into reality.

Volvo Aero and Boeing have cooperated for several years in areas focused on total solutions for service and spare parts management
for the world’s commercial airlines. Volvo Aero manufactures components for more than 90% of all large aircraft engines and is
program participant in General Electric’s new GEnx-engine that will be used in Boeing 747-8, the 787 Dreamliner and other commercial
aircraft.

“The cooperation is based exclusively on getting things done for our customers as effectively as possible", says Mark E Bonom, Logistics Specialist at Boeing
