» Volvo Buses has received an order for 145 bus chassis for Jamaica. The buses will be used as part of the Jamaican government’s initiative to improve the urban transport system in Kingston.

» On November 17 Talon Logistics, Inc. USA, took delivery of its first EPA2010-certified trucks from Volvo Trucks in North America, with two more delivered since. Talon to date has ordered a total of 23 EPA’10 Volvo VN Daycabs for its fleet.

Commute Greener is accessed through a mobile phone or a web site on the internet, enabling the user quickly to see by how much carbon dioxide emissions are reduced or increased using different means of transportations, for example bus, car, car pooling or bike. Volvo´s home town, the City of Göteborg in Sweden, is the first city in the world to order the service for its employees.
