This website is one step of an E-business strategy driven by Volvo Group Purchasing Council. The site will be the single source for information and a dedicated working tool for today’s and tomorrow’s Volvo partners. This platform will happen in three major phases:

- Introduce the Volvo Group purchasing departments and attract new suppliers: questionnaire, contacts...

- Provide to Volvo current suppliers, by secured access, general information about the company working methods. Organize existing and future Volvo supplier information, giving them access by a secured way to an electronic library which regroups all the detailed documentation needed for the daily activity: access to specifications, internal processes...

- Extend access to selected partners, giving them a customized access to Volvo internal applications: eSourcing portal, database, online part design and to confidential information.

As one more step towards E-commerce, this website will allow worldwide suppliers to work online with the Volvo Group.
