The Volvo Group spends approximately 3.6 BEUR on purchasing non-automotive goods and services every year – or some 10% of the Group turnover.
If we exclude IT and Logistics, these expenditures still total around 2.3 BEUR – a significant amount that we can influence through improved organization and processes.
Cost reductions on amounts this large will have a direct and positive effect on the net income of the entire Volvo Group.
