The Globetrotter LXL cab is available for 4x2 and 6x2 tractors with the 11-litre engine. The cab has extra height making room for more storage space and plenty of headroom. It's easy to move around in the cab and two people can sleep comfortably.
Instrument panel
The gently curved instrument panel allows the driver to conveniently reach all the controls. In the centre is a new combined instrument featuring a large, clear black and white driver information display.
Cab packages
The Volvo FM offers the possibility to add an air flow system to minimize fuel consumption. To improve the cab comfort, there are also different audio packages to choose from, adding high-end functions such as an iPod interface, Bluetooth support and a 400 W amplifier.
Storage
- Two large storage compartments with roll-blind doors and six DIN compartments above windscreen
- Cup holder, penholder, net pocket and space for small items are integrated in the instrument panel
- Under the bed there are two large storage compartments accessible from the outside
Overnight accommodation
Comfortable sleeping bunks for two people, one bottom bunk (700x2000x125/160 mm) and an upper bunk (600x1900x100 mm). The upper bunk is also available in a comfort variant (700x1900x100 mm).
