The Volvo Ocean Race is the ultimate mix of world class sporting competition and on-the-edge adventure.

It takes over nine months and covers nearly 39,000 nautical miles of the globe’s most treacherous seas.  Raced over 10 legs, the 2008-2009 race will visit 11 ports around the world.
