The Volvo FH16 can be made to suit the most varying transport tasks. The chassis is available in different heights and with various types of suspension system, braking system and peripheral equipment.
There are three different chassis heights for tractors and rigids:
The Low chassis is intended for bulk transport on good roads in combination with all-round air suspension. Medium height suits trucks with low front axles in combination with either front leaf springs or front air suspension. High is intended for trucks working with heavy construction and for trucks with leaf springs.
