Austria takes VISTA 2009 – the world's biggest competition for workshop personnel
Austrian Team Impact stood as winners after the finals of VISTA 2009 on June 11th. Out of 3 455 teams from 70 countries 28 remained in the finals that took place in Volvo Trucks Training Centre in Göteborg, Sweden. In a tough field the Austrians impressed with both their practical and theoretical skills and claimed the title as winners of VISTA 2009.

The management at Volvo Trucks and the local union have come to an agreement to deal with the low utilization at the assembly plant in Gothenburg. The agreement includes reduced working time and salary which has made it possible to avoid the previously announced reduction of 335 jobs in Gothenburg.

New Dynafleet gives transport buyers better control over their cargo
Where is the cargo and when is it expected to arrive? Now transport buyers no longer have to call the haulage firm every time these questions arise.
