The Volvo FH16 can be made to suit the most varying transport tasks with chassis available in different heights, types of suspension system, braking system and peripheral equipment.

There are four different chassis heights for tractors:

• Low - nominal 850mm
• Medium - nominal 900mm
• Standard = nominal 1000mm

And three heights for rigids:

• Low - nominal 850mm
• Medium - nominal 900mm
• Standard  - nominal 1000mm
