The cabs are well-insulated and feature four-point suspension. They are equipped with dampers and coil springs or air suspension to further minimise the risk of shake and vibration reaching through to the cab frame. All the cabs feature low, convenient entry steps and the doors open to a generous 90 degree angle.

Uncluttered and safe lines cut through the air and save fuel. Gently rounded contours mean low air resistance and thus have advantages in terms of fuel efficiency.

A windscreen with a steeply raked angle and large curvature of the corner panels helps minimise air resistance and fuel consumption.Comprehensive airflow packages with deflectors for the roof and sides that lead the air over and past the body or trailer are available for every cab.

Safety as a core value

Volvo’s cabs are made of high-strength steel frame itself forms a safety cage. The Front Underrun Protection System (FUPS) comes as standard integrated into the chassis construction.
