Directors from Brazil and Europe debate, at the Volvo Forum, freight transport safety
Directors of national and international organizations, gathering under them freight carriers, specialists and transport operators, will meet on September 4th, in São Paulo, to discuss “How safety can improve the image of the trucking industry”, the theme of the Volvo Traffic Safety Forum 2008.

The new Volvo Trucks range shown at IAA
At the heart of Volvo Trucks’ stand will be the new range of Volvo trucks. For the first time ever outside Sweden, the general public will be able to experience these trucks inside and out. With the new range, Volvo Trucks has focused on optimising the driver environment and introducing advanced safety support systems. Visitors will also get a first-hand look at the world’s first operational heavy hybrid refuse truck, and many other groundbreaking innovations.

Volvo Trucks delivers Volvo Open 70 yacht
Heads turned last Friday when an unusual delivery took place through busy Stockholm streets as the latest Ericsson Volvo Open 70 yacht was hauled by Volvo Trucks’ new flagship Volvo FH16.
