Volvo Aero is a partner with Rolls-Royce Deutchland in the BR715 engine in the 75.6 - 97.9 kN (17,000 - 22,000 lb) thrust range. This engine, which powers the Boeing 717, has a 58-inch fan and a two-stage booster driven by a three-stage low-pressure turbine.
Volvo Aero has the design and development responsibility for the intermediate case. This component is one of the world's largest one-piece titanium castings.
