Fan/compressor structures


We manufacture fan and compressor structures, or intermediate cases, for several engine programs. Manufacturing routes range from steel fabrications to machining of large one-piece titanium castings. Volvo Aero has the design and development responsibility for the BR715 intercase and the Trent 900 intercase.  These parts are now in production at the Volvo Aero plant.

At the moment we are developing the fan hub frame for the GEnx engine. Our use of manufacturing cells results in extremely short throughput times in the manufacturing process.
