Volvo Penta asked Volvo IT to design a solution that would enable dealers to access advanced after-market systems for processing product information, spare parts and warranties. Volvo IT developed a globally accessible, web-based portal for them and their dealers.
We were responsible for the implementation, operation and support of the portal. The final solution has led to greater income and lower costs for Volvo Penta. And, over 60% of all spare part orders from dealers in the US and Europe are now processed via the internet.
