This 8 month assignment is taking a crew of Volvo IT
employees around the world in 240 days.
They have between 2 weeks and 24 hours to carry out
each delivery. This includes being on stand-by 24 x 7.
A range of gear is needed, anywhere from thermal
underwear and malaria protection to meters of cable
and climbing harnesses.
To succeed, the crew has to be extremely agile and
flexible, with a planning horizon of less than 60 minutes.
Failure is not an option.
