Volvo IT and Martinsson Informationssystem have signed an agreement to set up a new and competitive alternative for medium-sized companies looking to outsource IT operations.
This partnership will result in Volvo IT’s skills, expertise and resources in large-scale IT operations being combined with Martinsson’s sales organisation and geographical coverage in Sweden.
Martinsson is already selling the IT port school portal developed by Volvo IT. The partnership is now being extended to include deliveries from Volvo IT of the IT operations that are included in Martinsson’s total range of services.
”We expect this partnership to increase our operating volumes, particularly when it comes to the Windows Server. With higher volumes and our standardised operating environment, we can improve the cost effectiveness of a platform that is becoming increasingly important to our customers,” says Olle Högblom, market director at Volvo IT.
