Volvo IT VMS Service is designed to meet a customer’s business application hosting requirements by providing required availability, reliability, scalability and performance.

Seamless service
The VMS Service is normally only part of the complete solution that adds value to a customer’s business. The additional functions can be delivered by Volvo IT. In cases where other suppliers are involved in delivering the complete business solution, Volvo IT will do its utmost to provide an overall seamless service. The service consists of two distinct deliverables – Processing Service and Storage Service.

Regular reviews and tests
Volvo IT regularly reviews and tests new technology and best working practices in the VMS sector. We also co-operate with major suppliers to obtain information about new, planned products and releases of the current VMS systems. Using this knowledge, Volvo IT continually updates and improves its VMS services. Furthermore, we regularly benchmark the success of this ongoing work and strive to identify areas of potential further improvement.
