In Wuxi some 100 kilometres west of Shanghai, China lay this joint venture factory between Volvo Penta and the Chinese company Wuxi Diesel Engine Works. The factory, inaugurated in 2000, is assembling diesel engines for industrial and marine commercial use in China.
This industrial presence in China is an important part of Volvo Penta´s ambition to continue to grow its business in this region.
